What ever happened to "The Coin Show Radio" podcast?

I only recently found the "Coin Show Radio" podcast by Mike Nottleman and Matt Dinger and listened to many back episodes. I really enjoyed it and thought is was both educational and fun to listen to. But it seems to have been abruptly halted around July of 2017, no new episodes were posted, and their website is no longer maintained. There was no warning, as the last episode definitely ended on the same note as all the previous ones, asking the listeners to tune in next time. And they don't respond to e-mails. Does anyone know what's going on?

They are both posters on coin talk, maybe the answer is over there.
I am a listener for over a year, all I know for sure is that Matt (I think) had some family medical issues and they took a long break last year, I suspect whatever it is might have returned. But all this is speculation of course

A bird whispered in my ear and directed me to this thread.
I will try to answer anyone’s questions as best I can.
Matt and I have not done a new show in several months. Matt had some personal stuff going on that demanded his attention and I really won’t go into it as it is private and personal, but the reason that the absence was extended beyond our usual summer hiatus is really very simple and completely on me.
In 2014, I lost my job of 17 years and while I was unemployed, we tried very hard to continue and had hopes that with my extra attention we might even be able to monetize the show and at least make it self-sufficient.
I was unable to find work for quite some time as I am no longer able to physically perform the type of work in which I was previously engaged, I needed to change industries and at this stage in my life, ( I’m 55), this proved to be very difficult.
I eventually found some work, but was working 2 jobs in order to try to make a living, and truthfully, wasn’t making it at that.
Last June, I did finally find a new job in a new industry (to me) and the time that it required for me to learn a new industry and a new job we’re a bit overwhelming. I asked Matt if we could take some time hoping that in time I could return to doing the show regularly.
Unfortunately, that plan has not been working well for me. Matt has been a very generous partner and has told me that he will do the show as often as I am able, but I am still working two jobs and truthfully, researching, editing, and producing a podcast that I am proud of has just not been possible for me to accomplish.
I would love to be able to continue, and I have left the door open as we have never officially ended the show, but as time continues to pass, it does become increasingly less likely.
It s flattering that people enjoyed our work, and the show has been a labor of love. I have met people and had doors opened to me that I never imagined would’ve been accessible.
The fact is that there just haven’t been enough hours in the day to do everything that it takes to make a living, raise a family, and produce a show. At this time in my life I have had to sacrifice in order to address things in my life based on priority. Family has always come first, then work, then hobbies. The show, unfortunately falls under hobbies, and right now my focus is demanded elsewhere.
I am a generally private person and have never really publicly addressed these questions. I didn’t welcome people asking about or publicly discussing my personal problems, nor did I ever want to appear as if I wanted or needed anyone’s sympathy.
I hope that this satisfies your curiosity. I apologize for being absent, but never apologize for putting my family’s needs first.
Mike
Let's give both these guys the credit and respect they deserve for putting on their show for the last few years...free of charge mind you. The best to both of them. It was a pleasure to be in the audience at the interview they had with QD Bowers at ANA 2015.
Thank you both very much for the time and efforts you put forth to maintain a great form of entertainment. I'm was a listener and a fan. I wish you both the best and hope maybe another door opens and you start broadcasting again soon. Best of luck to you both.
Thank you Mike for your response. I did not mean to intrude on your privacy, it was just that I really enjoyed the show and was concerned when it suddenly disappeared without trace. Thank you for taking the time and effort to run it for as long as you had (I still have a lot of back episodes to listen to), and I with you both the best and hope that everything will turn out for the best in your lives. Maybe you'll be back one day, never say never.
I hope that we return soon. The truth is, I love Matt like a brother and doing the show has been one of the greatest pleasures I have found in life.
best of luck to you Mike

I didn’t feel like you were intruding. Thank you for the kind words. It’s been long enough now that I need to address it publicly, but that means that I need to decide if we’re going to continue at all.
I don’t really want to stop, but it also doesn’t look like a new show will be produced in the next few weeks either.
Thanks for the information Mike.... I wish you the best of luck... and you certainly have your priorities correct. Cheers, RickO
Good luck @mikenoodle I'm sure many of us older guys understand having to break into a new industry/job upsets etc. and the sacrifices that must be made. Thanks to you and Matt for your contributions to numismatics.
Kind regards,
George

Just saw this post now. Love the show Mike and appreciate all the work you and Matt have put in over the years.
Take care of yourself and your family and if the time is ever right again we'll be here ready to tune in.
I really wasn't aware of this podcast, so now it looks like I'll need to go start listening!
Good luck on whatever you end up doing!
