I know you can't go by the neighborhood, but if you look at the address in google streetview it appears to be a nice area. I'm wondering if the plan is to grab it within the post office.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

I looked it up too. Looks nice, but I didn't see any mail box in front of the home. Was thinking it might have one of those centralized multi box units. If someone had a key to a box the recipient would never know the package was sent because it would be grabbed before they got there. Anyhow, if you can get on ebay to bid and send me a message after winning, and get on paypal to pay me, why can't you get on ebay and paypal to update your confirmed addresses?

Some people have mailboxes 'on' their house - or is that allowed anymore? I may not be up on the postal mailbox laws. I really don't even like mailing expensive items to physical addresses anymore at all.

I did not cancel the transaction on ebay, just refunded the money. I sent him a note advising that he is welcome to update his address on both ebay and Paypal and send another payment and I will then ship.

Well, as chance would have it, I just received the payment back from Mustafa via Paypal and now both the address on Paypal and on ebay match what was in his email to me. Shows as confirmed address in Paypal. So as soon as the money shows in the account he will get his gold dollar.

I went back & looked just for fun and yes, they do have the centralized units scattered every so many houses.

I get this fairly often. I have to tell them I cannot ship to another address, plain and simple. I actually had a customer email me and say he was not expecting me to ship so quickly, and it was going to his winter home, where he was not at yet. I told him sorry, I already shipped and there was nothing I could do now. Well, he just messaged me a couple days ago, saying the tracking said delivered, but his neighbor said nothing was there. He asked what I was going to do about it. Umm, sorry, HE needs to call his post office and talk to them now. Hopefully ebay will protect me on this one.

I agree. I recently had an item (delicate but not expensive) that the seller insisted on sending to my street address rather than my registered PO Box address. I just don't get it, He'd rather risk rain, theft, or whatever, than mall to a PO Box.

I was once automatically blocked from an eBay auction from a seller in China due to my PO Box being my registered address. The Chinese seller didn't trust ME. Now that's a switch....
