I can't seem to get the colors to show like they do in hand but it is an attractive coin(to me anyway). I might have to have this one photo'd by someone who knows what they're doing.
What say you? Like it? Hate it? Be brutal if you want, I don't mind
Also GTG if you want to since I didn't mention what it is. GRADE UPDATE: 62

nice coin, great strike, minimal marks, ngc ms63+
Thaaaat's a pretty sweet 21 my coin brother.
I like the mild toning. Gives it a nice subdued glow. Reverse looks better, IMHOP.
Probably conservatively a 63.

I like the subtle original tone and splashes of color.
Decent strike for a 1921.
MS 63 shot at 64.

Nice coin. Not that your photos aren’t good, but it looks like a piece that a great photographer could really make sizzle. Above average strike. If we’re doing a GTG, something makes me want to say AU58, but could be an MS62.
Bryce beat me to it......58-62.
Great reverse...MS61 to MS62 the way the observe shows in the pictures...

I guess I have more to lear about grading PEACE dollars. I would've guessed AU55.
Still very pretty!!!!

I really like the subtle color!! I bet it's not too flashy, but the luster helps it to pop at the right angle. I'd say it's a 63 as well. It's got a gorgeous skin to it, the sort of look I like to find.![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Nice coin, nice strike, great toning for a Peace $
BHNC #203
I like the look. Nice coin.
My first thought was AU+ and I'll stick with that. There's a lot going on on the obverse for that to be an MS piece.
I think the toning is attractive and the pics make me want to say 58, but hi res pics always make small issues look worse so it could be MS62-63 and that would seem right too.
Nice '21 Peace... I have been looking for one like that (minus the tarnish)..... Low MS I would say..... Cheers, RickO
Hard to tell . will go with 58/ 62.Better strike for that date.
62.
Nice, I've always liked the 21 Peace dollars.
MS61 is my guess.

Overall appealing coin with Frosty Luster and pleasing obverse Peripheral Toning.
Slightly above average strike on obverse Hair around Miss Liberty’s Ear and Rays above her Tiara, with clearly defined interspersed shorter tiara rays. Reverse strike also above average with clear definition b/t Eagle’s Wing & Leg.
Some light obverse chatter contact marks & light fingerprint at 10-11 o’clock on tiara. Difficult to discern from the photos if those contact marks are bagmarks, or if they result from light circulation.
I’m leaning towards an AU-58 grade assignment with possible market grading MS-62 upside.

Thanks for the comments everyone! Some hit the nail on the head, NGC MS62. There is a lot of chatter going on , primarily I think the large mark in front of LIberty's face held it. The marks are overshadowed by the attractive look of the coin overall. I think I got a pretty good deal at under $250.

Agree that's a really nice looking Peace dollar. I like the way the toning frames the central elements. Definitely a keeper!
Excellent strike, super popular coin; many of these go 63 or higher when I have no idea why they garner lofty grades with not full strikes. Some I have seen in 64 and gem holders that don't impress much. Excellent deal IMO, toning is a little funky.
Strike on a 21 (or any Peace dollar) is the least important thing to the TPGs. Luster and overall eye appeal are tops, followed by surfaces. This is nice example of my favorite issue in my favorite series.
Some chatter, but a nice looking ‘21 Peace.
Nice to see them when they aren’t dipped white. Nice pickup.

To make that type of toning pop, you need to tilt the coin and shine a light evenly and directly on the surface. You also need to diffuse that light and then color correct in photoshop or some other post processing software. I’d be happy to expand if you want more info.
Nice![:# :#](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/grimace.png)

I don't see any discoloration. Sometimes with these a weak central strike can be confused with wear.

I've gotten a new camera since I first posted this. I'll take some updated photos soon and update this.
The grade is in the first post, NGC 62.

I too have the Nikon coolpix and found that with certain lighting if I put the camera on "scene" instead of Auto or Manual I get great pics.![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
