Old Coins and Coin World Magazines

Just a thought. I found an old hoard of Coin World and Coins magazines lurking about the castle. Instead of recycling them or tossing them out. Leave one at each Starbucks or coffee shop during a visit. Remember to peal off your name and address. It may start some new collectors.

I “donate” mine to my son in law who is a firefighter/EMT. He leaves them at the firehouse for everyone to enjoy.

Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?

A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.

A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.

I used to leave them at the airport and on planes all the time.

Also leave them in Doctor's offices.... all types - Opthamologists, Dermatologists, Physicians, Dentists, etc... I find the reading material is horrible in those type offices.... Have left a few gun magazines in the past... they disappear fast.... Cheers, RickO

Isn't there some rule that any magazine in a doctor's office must be at least six months old?
