A direct impact of the coinage act of 1890.

This letter contains the Mint Director's instructions for coinage of silver dollars in compliance with the new law. Notice the suggestion for the Coiner to hold back undelivered dollars? This dovetails nicely with CaptHenway's comments in the thread titled "Short article: Official mintage versus coins actually available."
Anyone have nice examples to post?

Definitely quality for the era. Could have been done in calligraphy like other documents: https://harvardgazette.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/011215_magna_carta_017_605.jpg
