    It's HarBum.

The pardon is for tyrants. They like to declare pardons on holidays, such as the birthday of the dictator, or Christ, or the Revolution. Dictators should be encouraged to keep it up. And we should be encouraged to remember that the promiscuous dispensation of clemency is not a sign of political liberality. It is instead one of those valuable, identifying marks of tyranny.

I was not surprised the Buckeyes won. I was shocked by how easily they moved up and down the field and poured it on.

Harbaugh and his coordinators got badly outcoached today. The offense was extremely limited and predictable. The defense generated no pass rush and seemed utterly incapable of covering a crossing route as if they'd never seen one before. They were poorly prepared, poorly schemed and embarrassed.

For sure there needs to be a serious reexamination of the staff at Michigan.

It's hard to out coach speed. Michigan has great coaches. Ohio State just had too many 4 and 5 star play makers who showed up during rivalry week.

    When Michigan men collide.

Tom Brady via @MutCallahan on Ohio State beating Michigan: "Man, freakin' Wolverines. They can't win a big game, man. That was pretty crappy to watch." Brady lost a bet to Nate Ebner for a couple hundred dollars and now has "to wear some ridiculous outfit."

Maybe Harbaugh can't out coach speed, but he can out recruit Urban, but has failed. It is his team now, no excuses. bad hire. Just bump the tuition $300 per student and can his ass.

Back in 2006 when Colin Cowherd was on ESPN radio, he use to talk about Ohio State vs Michigan recruiting. He said that Michigan will rarely, if ever at all be the power program that they once were. And the reason is because the top recruits at skill positions don't want to play for up northern teams anymore in football. He said Ohio State will be an exception.

Ohio State has done extremely well in recruiting for several years. I think with all the talk of how long until Urban retires will make recruiting the 5 star players a little more difficult.

I remember that...didn't recall who said it. Comment was that the top players were smart enough to head South. RichRod missed the memo.

OSU will be fine as long as Chokebaugh stays the Michigan head coach.

Where were these players when OSU played Purdue. With all those 4 and 5 star players you have it must have been poor coaching.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. At least OSU didn't lose to the same team 2 years in a row. cough, cough Ole Miss :D

Those two teams cost Ole Miss in more ways than one.
Ole Miss received bowl ban, three years probation for NCAA violations.
They had to buy players so they could compete, cough, cough beat Alabama... :D

Michigan against top 10 teams (Notre Dame, Ohio State, Florida) this season: 127-71. 39 of those points came against Ohio State. #Yikes

Closer than expected but certainly not Michigan's finest hour!

  • keetskeets Posts: 25,351 ✭✭✭✭✭

4th and Goal at the three and they can't punch it in, wow!!! then they have a chance with 1:00 plus to get the ball back and can't stop PSU. that's what I call a total breakdown and sad day in Ann Arbor, they deserve better than what Harbaugh has given them, money notwithstanding.

  • TabeTabe Posts: 6,182 ✭✭✭✭✭

2nd half was a tremendous performance by Michigan. They completely dominated but only after digging too deep a hole. Still, dropping the game-tying touchdown...the comeback was there, just not completed. Gotta get it done. Don't gag on the 3 plays before that.

Don Brown's defensive system was once again exposed as Michigan gave up multiple gigantic plays to KJ Hamler,

This was probably Shea Patterson's best game for Michigan, at least in terms of accuracy. Unfortunately, that's not good enough. He's terrified in the pocket when his first read is covered and looks far too skittish for a guy who is a multi-year starter at big-time programs.

Great to see Michigan fight back but, at the end of the day, moral victories are not acceptable in Ann Arbor.

Michigan wore down Penn State in the 2nd half. They will beat Notre Dame in the big house this saturday.

Perhaps the U-M can trade Harbaugh even up for Jason Garrett. It would be a win/win as fans of both teams want a new coach.

I am setting up a GoFundMe page to pay that team up North for keeping Harbaugh as coach until they win against the Buckeyes or he reaches retirement age. Whichever comes first.

I know this it is much more of an offensive game now, but OSU put up 14 points each quarter, at the Big house with 115 thousand fans.

The 10-6, three yards and a cloud of dust days are a distant memory.

Just think if the Buckeyes wouldn't have got in trouble for receiving tattoos, they would have 16 games in a row won against Michigan.

Michael dominated the line on both sides in the first half so, naturally, they stopped running in the second half. You've got a quarterback missing throws all over the place so, OF COURSE, you put the game in his hands. That's poor coaching.

Man, with even respectable quarterback play today, Michigan wins. Sooooooo many points just thrown away.

  • coolstanleycoolstanley Posts: 3,074 ✭✭✭✭✭

Hairball needs a QB. But in his defense, too many dropped balls by the michigan receivers.

A few drops but Patterson missed way more than were dropped. And even the catches were often poorly thrown.

I enjoy the Michigan quarterback talk and all, but let us not forget that Alabama had the backup guy behind center.
