Good thing you weren't around in 1776. We'd still be paying in pounds.

I own a couple Jackie Robinson gold commems (recently bought) that traded for over $4000 each a decade ago. They are worth about $800 per coin now now. Coin market in general has slid about 30% in the last few years.

    Alarms are sometimes warranted.

Not sure what that means. That some people over paid for moderns? I think $800 is still too much. Sure parts of the coin market have suffered over the past few years. Others have prospered. No different in sports cards or the stock market. If one was smart enough to buy Boeing, Face Book, Amazon, Telsa in the past 2-5 years they are laughing all the way to bank. If they bought GE or KIQ then they would have a different perspective. Wide brushes are hard to paint with if you're into details

To tell the truth I'm about to the point where I don't care. If they don't stop the kneeling, which is against the rules of the NFL, I may just drop the NFL from my life! They want to suspend a guy who is not guilty, but won't do anything to the guys who disrespect the Flag, our Country and the Men & Women who have given their lives so that these jerks can have everything that they have!!!! Something is WRONG with this picture!!!!!

Stop watching then. I know you won't

    m

Actually Mark I'm about to my breaking point!

That's fine. You should quit watching then. I'm still waiting for for people that said If Obama won the election to leave the country that (said they would). Same with those that said they would leave if Trump won

    mark

Way easier to dump the NFL than to exit the country were you live. I gave up on the league 5 years ago. I have a few friends that still follow their team but skip the other couple of games that they would follow each week. It is a hoodlum league now and not nearly as much fun to watch as in the Barry Sanders/Emmitt Smith era.

True it is easier but people make idle threats all the time but mean it when they say it. I love football still.

    mark

Love it as well and I will watch a couple of college games this weekend. They certainly have their problems but the coaches still maintain a modicum of control over the players.

Cool. So you support a society where one person, or a group of persons, controls the actions/thoughts of the many. Forced compliance. Forced patriotism. Forced agreement. You may have your own opinion, but only if it agrees with mine. Otherwise, a mandated consequence for your insubordination. 'Murica!

No mention of actually hearing the players that are protesting and working towards a solution that addresses their concerns.

    Sad.

If I posted here how I feel about you and all of those disrespecting the Flag I would be banned so I won't!!

But I will say that if you don't love this country and Flag why don't you just leave and go to a country more of your liking!!

All you are doing is taking up space!! This is my last post on this thread. Have fun people.

You literally proved the point I was making. If people don't show the exact deference to the Flag and Anthem (have you ever noticed that I always capitalize those two words? Ever wonder why? Could it be out of respect?) that you do, then they should leave the country. If people don't thump their chests and defend the Flag and Anthem the way you do, then they should leave the country.

Say, are those jackboots I hear?

I will likewise refrain from posting exactly how I feel about you and people who think like you - people who would really be okay with fellow Americans who disagree with them leaving the country they love just as much as you do.

    'Murica

He's been dropped already in your league? That's crazy~he's been a beast so far and if he starts a suspension this week, he's eligible to come back in Week 15, right in time for the fantasy semi-finals!~

Guy I’m playing Sunday has him, this entire thing is way beyond stupid. All this garbage saying that no more chance of him playing blah blah blah and they pull another injunction out of their rear ends. Bottom line Zeke will play the entire year even after the next final stops to his appeals, the whole thing is a joke

How about this stroke of luck, I sit Forte last night, I lose Watson and the guy I’m playing has Zeke on Sunday :s

This isn't about Zeke beating up his old lady. Someone in the NFL main office is a forum member and they are just trolling Dimeman :D

He's definitely out this week but has a hearing set for December 1. It's possible, if unlikely, he may be reinstated before week 16.

Week 16 is the fantasy championship week~tough to drop him if you are heading to the playoffs.

Don't blame the woman~he's got to carry himself more professionally as an NFL player. This isn't the first time he's been the focus of an abuse allegation, either.

It's simple~don't act like a jerk and you won't be in a position like this where you hurt your team with off field actions.

He is probably doing the right thing, guilty or not the NFL is not going to back down. He is taking the weight of this off his and his teams shoulders, so why drag it out, if Brady couldn’t beat his case I️ doubt very much Zeke could, getting it over with and refocusing is a tough but good move. No idea if he is truly guilty or not but in the NFL’s eyes he is and if he is eligible to come back in time for the playoffs then it’s a survivable situation for his team if they make the playoffs

Being realistic and not just being a downer....I don't think we make the playoffs without Zeke. We have to play the Eagles twice yet. The rest of the teams fighting for the 2nd wild card would have to fall apart.

I have read that the NFL's case against Elliott makes what the league had on Brady look air tight-meaning that both were exceptionally weak cases. Part of the reason the NFL has been successful is their choice of venue has favored them.

I have always wondered when the players signed the new CBA in 2012 if they thought the NFL would establish themselves as a law enforcement and investigative agency above local and federal government.
