First year Philly middle date Walker and neurotic slab affliction.

Okay...I think I'm losing it...lol. I already have TWO 1934 P Walker coins in MS 66---a PCGS example in a blue labeled, un-pronged slab for my PCGS set and an NGC example in an old #7 slab in my NGC registry. I thought that it was BAD ENOUGH to own TWO but I now have THREE!!

I saw this fully original (at least I thought so) NGC Fatty in MS 66 with undamaged hologram, so now, being the slab fancying, Walker-hoarding fiend that I have become; I grabbed it up.

An old, veteran Walker collector once told me to pick up nice Walker coins from the 1930s if/when you can......I HOPE that you are right, old friend.

For you slab geeks/gurus this one is a green-bordered NGC #4. She looks real sharp to me.

Any thoughts/opinions/suggestions/cures for my illness? lmao.

Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

If you're Walkerfan, it's what you do!

It's hard to pass up a nice coin you like, especially when you really know the series.

Pretty coin. Nothing wrong with having more than one.

That one has everything going for it. Totally understand your predicament. I counted them last night and I have picked up 11 1939 D Mercury dimes because I just love the way they tone. Rattlers, OGH's, new PCGS, NGC no line fattys, doesn't matter. They all look good to me.

I would have done the same, that's a great coin AND holder!

Normally I would do this but all three have their attributes:

-The PCGS coin is frosty and smooth and I need it for my PCGS set.

-The NGC Fatty has nice originality, sharpness and I really like that slab.

-The NGC #7 is a sharp, clean coin and I like that older slab a lot, too.

Being a hoarder of junk is one thing but nice Walkers? Well...... ;)

Ah, the way we used to find attractive and accurately graded Walkers. Very nice.

@AllCoinsRule The 1944-S is a great issue and tough to find nice. I have seen your sharp example...it is a freak of nature. The above coin looks crystal clear and smooth as displayed by the sun and right facing field. Keep up the good work!! ;)
