Major CoinFacts Android and iOS app update

We recently released our much improved CoinFacts app update! An email was sent out a couple of weeks ago specifically for the iOS version. This post will serve as a comprehensive description of the improvements and features for both Android and iOS.

Here is a list of everything that was added or improved:

-NEW: Completely redesigned from the ground up to be beautiful, fast, and intuitive
-NEW: Powerful search on the homepage to quickly find the coin you are looking for (by PCGS Number OR coin description)
-NEW: View all CoinFacts images for each coin in high resolution just like on the website
-NEW: The app can now be downloaded on iPads
-NEW: Supports deep links from other apps and the web
-NEW: Share a link to a coin with others. If the user has the new app installed they will go right to the coin in the app
-NEW: Receive a daily Rare Coin Market Report notification to keep you up to date with changes in CoinFacts as well as live metal prices
-IMPROVED: Significantly faster barcode scanning for both PCGS and NGC barcodes
-IMPROVED: View more auction results than before. Up to 5 for PCGS and 3 for NGC in the ValueView
-IMPROVED: Shop experience now has larger images to more easily see and find the coins you are looking to purchase
-IMPROVED: Much smaller app size
-IMPROVED: Many bugs and crashes were resolved

As always, PLEASE let us know if you encounter any issues with the updates. You can reply to this thread, PM me directly, or email app@pcgs.com. We would love to hear what you think as well as any suggestions for future improvement. Please be as detailed and specific as possible noting your device, operating system & version, and any screenshots that may help.

If you use this app regularly and enjoy it (especially as it's free) we would really appreciate it if you would take the time to review it on your respective app store. This helps us know what you like and helps others get a better idea of what real users think of the app before they install it.

If you haven't updated yet or if you previously used the app but have since uninstalled it, I would encourage you to try out the updated version. We built the new apps from scratch completely reworking the underlying architecture and adding the new features shown above. We are using the latest and greatest technologies and think this is the very best coin reference app you will find anywhere!

@PCGSDev A suggestion, can you add a My Showcases button next to the My Sets button? It takes a bit of digging to get to the the showcases under your profile and thought this might be useful as a shortcut. Other than that, really like the app!
