A like the streaky toning. I'd want to see it in hand, but the pics aren't too bad.
Gonna get me a $50 Octagonal someday. Some. Day.
Not a fan.
This is also the “broken nose” variety -- if you look closely at the top of the nose you will see that it is missing
appears the chief was in a fight and took a severe blow to the face. The irregular toning or splotches on the reverse
make this a coin I would avoid, there are other pieces out there in 65 that look better than this. Unless of course you
want the broken nose variety as a bonus.

I think it's properly graded. Not a fan of the streakyness, but I woildn't avoid the coin because of it.
Ditto on the "Broken nose". It is a sharp strike for an 18-P, which usually comes softly struck on the central obverse, with poor detail on the knot and hair.

I normally like streaky toning, but I don't care for this one.
I was unaware of the "broken nose" variety.
I agree with the grade, and spotted the 'broken nose' variety even before I evaluated the coin... I do not care for the appearance overall though - JMO - and would be surprised if it gets that price.... Cheers, RickO
No. For all the above.
It is the broken nose variety if you like that bonus, but if I was looking for an ms65 specimen for my set it would not be this coin, do not like the streaky toning at all, but someone else may well like it.

It's a coin with a poor alloy mix, thus streaking. I'm not a fan of the streaking at all. However, the obverse is pretty and is what we use to call "Tissue Toning" back in the day. It's a tough year and graded properly.
