Fun past few weeks.......

It has been a few weeks since I have joined this forum to start collecting coins with my kids.
They have enjoyed it a lot and I am hoping that it continues to grow.
I want to give a public shout out to three members of this forum that gave my kids a few coins to start off their collecting.

I want to thank all 3 of you for your generosity towards my kids. I greatly appreciate it and they greatly appreciate it as well.
It meant/means a lot to us.
We have been searching for coins more the past few weeks and came up with some finds.
We are finding more State Park Quarters and putting together a few penny collections including wheats, shields, and the pennies with Lincoln scenes on the back. They have enjoyed looking for all of those.
On top of that I was able to find an IKE Bicentennial Coin while at the store the other day as well as a 1940 wheat penny. Then on top of that I was able to find a $1 bill from 1993 with a Star on it and a couple of older Nickels.
I know they are pretty low end items but the time spent with the kids and the fun we have had talking about the stuff is definitely high end.
I think it will be a fun thing we have going on.

Thats what it's all about.
What you found may be low end, but collecting with the kids is priceless!!!

Keep their passion burning.

Took an uncirculated Buffalo Nickel to my Grandaughter's Pre-School class. The teacher let me show it to all the children, and they got to hold it and pass it around.
That was a totally satisfying experience for me. My Grand Daughter (17 now) still remembers it.

It sounds like you are having more fun than most of us here.
I think that means everything.
