RANDOM DATE $5 LIBERTY HEAD FROM LIBERTY COIN

Purchased a random date from Liberty Coin out of CA for my type set. I was really pleased with what I received. First time doing a random coin sight unseen. Overall I am very satisfied.

Nice. The obverse would look better at a different angle to the light.
Just me, but there is a certain level that I will buy a "random coin" at, and it is far, far below a half eagle.
Nice coin!
Unfortunately, it is a good example of why one shouldn't buy sight unseen. I hope the price was very, very right.
Here is pictures under different light $50 over spot.
If you are satisfied that's what matters. Looks like a lower end uncirculated coin to me and PCGS thought so also. I like it.

pretty nice, are the obv scratches on the holder?

$50 over spot doesn't seem that bad considering that it is already in a PCGS slab.
Doesn't do much for me, but if you like it that is all that matters.
The second set of images shows me a much, much better coin than the first.
Years back those had a $50 premium but gold only $400 an ounce
Looks way better in the new photos. Congratulations! Are you doing a gold type set or a 7070 with gold?

For $50 over melt, it's hard to go wrong with a sight unseen MS $5 gold!
Nice price and it is a gold coin..and it is slabbed... that is a win win win deal.... Cheers, RickO
Thanks. For now I want to get a $1, $2.5, $5, $10, and $20 gold piece.
That $5 gets yoy off to a nice start. Happy hunting.
