Pre-Sale on the Limited Edition 2017 Silver Proof Set

So there are some already doing the Pre-Sales on Ebay @ $375.00 Buy it Now or starting bids at $275.00 of the Limited Edition 2017 Silver Proof Set . I guess its for the unlucky few who cant buy the sale price of $139.95 on October 5th. I didn't post the link as I did not want to advertise for those who are trying to take advantage of those less unfortunate. Or maybe its a good deal for those that cant make it but do we really know what the resale price will be yet?

I will be there to buy my 2 I am allowed. I will buy mine in the first 5 seconds after 12:00 East Coast Time Oct 5th. : - )

Nice set.... I am considering it.... Not sure what the difference is from the silver proof set... Is it just the packaging? Cheers, RickO

The difference is mainly in the packaging. Also, only the silver coins are in the set (so no Cent, Nickel, or Dollar coins). Finally, this year the Silver Eagle is the "S" mint version that was only available in the sold-out Congratulations set (at 75,000 plus 50,000 in this set, the total of 125,000 will be fairly low for a Silver Eagle).

In general, the Limited set is more expensive than buying the Silver Proof Set and Eagle by themselves, but this year it is potentially a different story due to the "S" ASE.

Yes, a $37.05 premium over the two stand alone products. Actually, a $38.11 premium, since you don't get cent/nickel/dollar. Plus, packaging that's six times the size.
