From the single obverse image it appears to be a very nice, original, VG Barber half dollar. I like it.

If you like it, and it fits your budget, why not?

Coin like that has a lot of history in an affordable pacakage. Problem is due to being fairly common and in lower grade (used) it's value is tied to its silver content and historically not a great investment. But it won't really lose much Value so keep it as long as you enjoy it and you should be able to get your money out of it if you bought it right

There are a lot of collectors, myself included, who like Barber Halves with that exact original pink/brown skin, in that VG grade. I built a BH short set recently 92-06 and have several coins in it that are just like it. They look good with Fines and VFs.
Just a nice wholesome workhorse of US coinage.

That's nice I was wondering if that color was normal now I know... thank you appreciate the feedback

  • Nah my friend is 25 been collecting sence he was 17 he gave it to me on a trade for a 1851 large 1 cent

  • the 25cents in these photos one just looks different and weights .1 less so saved it to just my gut feeling

I still have coins that I bought many years ago. Many of them were not great, but they are worth much more now. Perhaps you age might be appropriate to this discussion?
