One of the other long time forum members and I did an transaction the other day and I asked him if he remembered buying a 16-d from me in AU many moons ago. he did and actually still has it, told him I never did find one in au I liked as much as the one I sold him, so several years ago , I ended up having to buy an UNC,. He asked me if Id post it, so I went and got it out. here tis

Man, that is one beautiful coin! Most 16-D Mercs went into circulation, and nice specimens are few and far between.
ANY 16-D is a coin to relish and hold on to, IMHOP.
