This seems really odd.
Is this a pieced together box or was it from a sealed case?

I am watching live on Facebook Just Collect.
They are at pack 18 or 19 and none so far.
Is the collation correct?
First Jordan just hit. Blazer.
Now they are saying they pulled a Jordan PSA 10.
It looks nice for sure. He mentioned a little PD.
Damn this guy was swinging the card all over the place. I was expecting him to drop it.

I don't know anything about it and that is why I am asking. I was under the impression a from a sealed case box should yield 3 to 4 Jordan's guaranteed.
Looks incredible!
Pack 19.
That was a great looking card.

Right now I feel like they're channeling Don West and Shop at Home?
He is addressing it now. This came from a case and the NY find that BBCX was involved in.
I wouldn't want this guy handling my cards. he's handling them like a card dealer at a casino.

I totally agree.
Put that Akeem in a card saver right away not in the stack.
Not enjoying their presentation that much.

I am just happy to see three Jordan's get pulled. The buyers of the other boxes have to be pleased to see that too I would think.
Unfortunately Evan likely got buried in this break. He bought half the box and hit a Jordan sticker from what I saw.
The breaker guy likely messed up dozens of tens by just throwing them into a pile. Many of those cards are hundreds+ in 10 and I feel for $2,000 a pack that every card should be saver'd hoping to make even a 1/4 of the money back when they miss a Jordan. I would trust Steve at BBCE to do a much better break than this AND off camera.
Unfortunately I heard his name numerous times with some minor hits and the OC Jordan sticker.
I realize time is of the essence but I think the breaker should have put some of the higher dollar raw cards in card savers out of the pack and not just in the team bag. Maybe it doesn't matter but at $154 a card it doesn't seem like an unreasonable request.
That was a great box, and from an amazing find! No doubt a sealed case is out there somewhere. Those that bought the other boxes should be a little happier than they were this morning.
They claimed it was $75K for the box but I thought the boxes he sold at the National for $75K each had a pack with Jordan showing. I thought this was the box for $70K of course that was the ask. I watched him pop an 86 FB rack the other day it took 23 minutes for 48 cards. He was selling every card like it was a PSA 10 Rice. Not my favorite breaker that's for sure

I cringe at watching butchers open packs. Supposed "professional" box breaker= really ???
Evan- if your a board member- find someone with a clue to do your openings.
I give the guy an F for professionalism and an A++ for being a total you know what.
I had Don West flashbacks watching this
If the breaker has a clue- non reactive gloves, proper and SLOW opening of packs ( does the breaker know that wrappers sell too ??) , proper treatment and handling of the product , and proper storage and protection. This guy has NONE of the necessary skill set .
I wouldn't care less about OCD people with "patience" issues. If its an investment that others own and not me-- sorry but I certainly don't care what amount of time I would waste treating someone else's stuff carefully. Let the OCD folks take a walk and come back and watch it later when its over and they can fast forward thru it.
Arrrgh- watching that just ruined my day
Running into a meeting, but couldnt agree more with how horrible the breaker was. The first time I watched one of these, and I was expecting so much more professionalism. A couple of things immediately jumped out:
-Sneezed and/or coughed; continued opening packs. I know you don't want to draw attention to it, but you could have done something there.
-He also continued to wipe his brow and forehead, then go back to the cards.
-An open container of water near the break. Come on....
-The noises the cards made when he put them down; it sounded like you were watching blackjack at a casino.
And like others have mentioned; Don West 2.0 and the way he handled the wrappers.
He gets an F.
Considering the extreme likelihood that the only thing a wrapper is going to be used for is to defraud someone else with re-packaged cards, a prudent, honest person would destroy them. I'm serious here. There's no reason to sell them to someone else when you know what they are going to do with them. And don't give me this nonsense about "wrapper collectors". Save one if you want to collect them. Preventing fraud starts with things like this. IMO, anyone selling wrappers is part of the problem.
I actively collect Kirby Puckett. I have collections of Michael Jordan, Emmitt Smith, Roberto Clemente, Dwight Gooden, Tom Seaver, Errict Rhett and Evan Longoria.
Has anyone seen the Mr. Mint video of how he handled cards? Dude was such a clown and these guys look like Bozo they way they handled this. As a result I bet many people would never commit to this again if these guys don't put each card into a sleeve, centered RC and tough commons into CS1's. Just show some respect for a lot of other peoples $$$$$.
I collect wrappers from all sports, and some non-sports too. Adds character to a collection.
Kiss me twice.....let's party.
But what about bubblebath/bubblegum girl?

I can't remember if was Mr. Mint but there was video of a prominent collector buying some older guys collection and he came across as a douche.

Yes, it is one and the same.
I would rather have surgery than watch over an hour of that guy
Horrible presentation. Joe from Jaspy's Hobbyland should have done it. He is the best.

The biggest lesson I've learned in this hobby, and in life, is that if you have a strong conviction, you owe it to yourself to see it through. Don't sell yourself, or your investments, short. Unless the facts change. Then sell it all.
They did a break at the national and they gave me a wrapper. 1979-80 hockey. I put one on the covers of my binders with the sets in them.
Wrappers definitely get used for nefarious reasons but most would collect them much as they would collect cards. I would hate to see 86 fleer basketball wrappers destroyed. I'm not a wrapper collector but the only one I have bought was the 86 fleer basketball purely just to have the iconic wrapper.
After watching the break on Youtube, I thought I would head over here to see what people were saying. I can't say I am surprised by the comments. The guy from Just Collect treated those cards like a bunch 1995 Topps baseball commons. He appeared to be an uncouth carnival barker.
