I divorced my wife.... she got all the gold. I got a new 2018 model right off the lot.
Note sure where you live. In my state that would be very illegal.. 2018 would be a one year old
It was a typo. He meant 18 year old.

This happened two days ago, a 1988-d nickel surfaced while my son was digging out an area for a concrete driveway. This thing is as dark red-brown toned/corroded as an old copper cent. Well, I wish I hadn't handed it over to the wife to see because she tried cleaning it and just literally destroyed what took years........ I'll spare you all from what went through my mind about the wife as she relayed to me how she tried removing some crud. I simply took it back with a smile on my face and said, "that's just great honey". Took one look at it, turned away and tossed it on the desk thinking, just unfreakinbeliveable!

I retrieved a 1918 "Broken Sword" Dan Carr Peace Dollar out of the Recycle bin just in time. I did not realize it was still in the cardboard mailer when I tossed it in with some other cardboard packaging
Ohhhhhhhhh Geeeeeeez!
I guess that’s why I never throw the corrugated sleeves away unless I just trash it then it’s a Rip it into many small pieces! Glad you did not throw it away.
all of this talk about wives and divorce, reminds of the classic Jerry Reed song, "She got the gold mine and i got the shaft, they split it right down the middle and gave her the better half"
About 15 years ago, my sister and her husband died. I had to go in and take care of everything, from clothes in the washing machine and milk in the fridge to bills, their business, the employees, etc.
While getting rid of the clothing, one pair of pants jingled loudly. There was 30+ Morgan and Peace dollars in a bag in a pocket. I started checking everything carefully, and found wads of $100 bills in pockets, $20 like water in clothes, etc (They had LOTS of clothes due to weight changes.)
