Great coin, I have had a couple. Do you have a box for it? I may have one laying around.
@ricko do you have a thread on how you achieve such perfect photos?
They have a professional quality, to be able to get that butter yellow gold without sacrificing detail is great!
Well done.
@coinpro76.... No, I do not have a box for it.... . As far as the photo's, they are copy and paste... I could not take a coin picture like that.... That is why I do not post pictures unless I can copy and paste. Cheers, RickO
Arguably one of Canada's most beautiful coins, gold or otherwise. The box is equally impressive, some kind of carved stone or stone-like material. It has some serious weight to it.
@coinsarefun ...Thanks Stef... I purchased it around 1999...might have been '98. I saw it and just fell in instant 'like' with it.... To me, it is a real work of art. Cheers, RickO

Nice representation of Haida art from Vancouver Island, very influential.
QE II looks great! Quite the juxtaposition between the two images, nice pics.

Notice the absence of distracting and superfluous legends and "stuff?" Let real artists create!
Nice observation @RogerB , the lack thereof does let the art work take center/front stage![ ](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)

Very cool design!
Neat coin Ricko! I've got to find one of those.
An interesting and unusual design. Thank you for posting it.
That is a VERY nice coin.
Love it!
I like it.
The funny thing is, that is the exact face I make when I'm already drunk and I take a shot and I try not to make a face.
Ricko, throw me the coin, and I'll give you the flip...
Cool!

Gorgeous coin! There reverse looks like a medal and I wouldn't be able to tell without seeing the obverse.
That's the best design of the 4-coin series. The mother and child is second, and both of the remaining are ... ahem... less than beautiful.
