Cracked out my VF20 NGC 1884-CC $10 Gold Eagle and sent to PCGS for grading and TrueView.

Needless to say I am pleased with the results.
I thought she was a solid 25, hoping for a 30.
It's nice to get a double bump on a coin with a low mintage of 9925.
Anyone else have an experience like this one?

Nice upgrade... and CC gold is always interesting.... Cheers, RickO
nice job!!!
I heard branch mints were not as well struck as the core mints which may account for this.
I have had this happen with circ Seated Dimes. It is a nice feeling. Good job...you can't beat having it in a PCGS holder and graded higher to boot!
nice one, congrats

Sweet. Great example. Old timers would have graded this a VF-20. Today, it sure looks VF-30 to me.

The coin has a certain "eye appeal".

Yes and no. The are from marks on the die; however, when they get this wide and noticeable, most folks I know call them "tool marks."
Congrats GB!!!

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

Yes, they sure would have; but I could not give you an "agree" due to your second sentence.
