Been looking for one of these for a long time!

I've heard that many of the counterfeit factories in China are cranking out all types of fakes - many on order. These include gold counterfeits. While I have never seen a crude U.S. gold counterfeit that can be "pinned-down" to modern Chinese manufacture such as the Hawaii 25c here in the "Chinese Style" (LOL), I have seen some rather crude fractional Pandas. Still they were nothing as granular and fatty as the coin posted here.
What makes this fake interesting to me and perhaps some of you is that there are several areas on its surface showing tiny patches of gold strike thru's! I'm going to keep looking.

You are posting about fake pandas on a US coin forum?
NOT at all, Read the post. AGAIN. BTW, the image is a Hawaiian 25c.
Thanks for you interest.
Exactly who is our friend in congress? Maybe with a new presidential administration that isn't afraid to engage China, something can be done about Chinese counterfeits.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Engage them in business more likely.
Well, just Love coins, period.
Maybe the secret service or other government agencies should be paying a substantial percentage in finder's fees on those who are trafficking in these.
Neither the Secret Service or any government agency - or politician - has any interest at all in this issue.... it is not even a minor blip on their radar....sure, perhaps one politician will voice some support...for political support... however, it will go nowhere. It just doesn't matter in the big picture. Cheers, RickO
