Are there any alternatives to auctionsniper dot com for sniping ebay auctions?

I noticed auctionsniper raised the rate from 1% to 1.5% and the max is no longer $5 (I paid almost $20 for one coin recently). I'm almost thinking of writing my own sniping tool that would work for ebay, GC, Heritage, etc.

Try gixen.com100% free no downloads or registering etc . Bids submitted 7 seconds before close.
Hit the reset page icon and have a quality stopwatch close by. Don't get excited, remain calm, and don't knock the bottle over. The last part is the most important because you'll want to have plenty of "juice" left over to celebrate your big win.
Gavelsnipe is completely free and I've never had an issue using them. I used to use Auctionsiper years ago but once I discovered gavelsnipe, there was no point in using Auctionsiper anymore and I haven't used it since. Frankly, I wish I hadn't hung on with AS as long as I did and don't understand why anyone would use them when there is an equally reliable free option available elsewhere. In fact, I had more issues with snipes going off when I used AS vs gavelsnipe. I bet the increase in fees is to compensate for loss of revenue as more and more bidders realize they don't have to pay to get the same service elsewhere.

I use Gixen, and I love it.
Gavelsnipe if you want an internet based sniper, jbidwatcher if you want it to run on your computer.

I have used esnipe forever and it has never failed to execute a bid. You do have to buy points that are used to pay for winning bids but it is ridiculously cheap. I think $20 worth of points lasts me 3-4 years.
I have used auctionstealer for years
I do it myself... great fun... well worth setting it up and counting down... then BAM!! Cheers, RickO
RickO, how many have you missed but you really wanted them?
I used to do that.. sitting there with mouse in hand. until one day.. the mouse battery gave up about 10 seconds before the end....
Now, I use biddingscheduler.com for many years now.
No Fee
reliable
easy to use
No complaints.
perfect record
lowest bidding time: 3 seconds before end of auction
a No Brainer.
I'm on a Mac and I use Auction Buyers Bidding Snipe Timer for eBay. It's a stand alone app that I installed on my computer. The cost was $4.99, but it's updated regularly and I never pay anything else. It also comes with an app that you can download to your iPhone and use when you are not around your computer. Both apps can communicate with each other, so if you wanted to update your snipe remotely, you can do that. I've had no issues with it at all.
Anybody got one for GreatCollection.com yet? Using thr timer on my phone now.

No, I haven't, personally. I set my snipes at 5 seconds and have never had an issue with the exception of one time when ebay was rejecting auto bids by sniping software. That was a few years ago.

Same here.
What sniper are people using that bids last second? I see bids roll in at the 5 second and 3 second mark then there’s sometimes one at pretty much time zero.
Me too. Plus you can adjust what time you want to place the snipe.
I joined early so I get all snipes <$25 for free.
