No, those were my coins. MFH inspired me to collect Barber keys and semi-keys. Both he and I
had the '04-S in AU58. He sold his first via HA and I sold mine a short time later, via CU.
Chicago, August 2011, Mike's "The Elbesaar collection" that contained many beautiful Barbers. We debated his selling and, as it turned out, several coins hit their "highs" at that time. Attached are a few that I'm the current caretaker.
...And a few of his "special" items
I miss our frequent conversations and bull sessions very much.
I did not know the man but I can tell from you folks that he was one of the good ones. This is the only barber I've ever owned. Bought it raw at an antique shop and it graded at 65 if I remember correctly. I think he would have enjoyed it.

Mike had great eyes for quality coins. Take good care of them.
My meager contribution, though Mike and I had done multiple transactions over the years and had many nice discussions. This was the last coin we were working on, as a potential piece for his AU58 dime set he was building:

This is one of my early purchases that Mike pointed out for me. It was in an old ANACS and he let me cross it with his submission.
Mike always wanted to own a 1901-S Qtr in AU58 but with only 1 graded by our host that was not possible.
So I hope a PCGS AU55 would suffice:
Wow...great example of a great and rare coin.
A 1904-S half in au58 is one of Mike's favorite coin:
That pic looks like a PCGS not NGC slab??
My bad the coin is in a PCGS slab
If I had that coin I would start the set in 55-58.

It's the memory we treasure
U.S. Type Set
That 1896 Quarter sure looks better than 64.
Raising a glass to Mike! Miss ya buddy!
