Hello everyone --
At ANA, Denver, there are 3 wonderful event talks about Bust coinage that are "Can't Be Missed".
On Wednesday, August 2nd, at the JRCS general meeting, there will be a talk entitled "Developing a Passion for Collecting Bust Dimes" by Jim Matthews and Barry Sunshine. This talk in Room 407 at 8am.
Also, at 2pm, David Lange will talk about about the "Discovery of the new die marriage 1822 B-3 Capped Bust quarter". This will be held in Room 505.
On Thursday, the Bust Half Nut Club will host a talk lead by Charles Link about **Completing his Bust Half collection by Die Marriage and Die States". **
I am sure all three talks will be interesting and knowledgeable to all.

Also at the ANA, there is an important presentation on new research for 1794 Dollars. From last Sunday's E-Sylum:
Money Talks Presentation On the 1794 Dollars
For researchers, bibliophiles and collectors alike is this presentation about new research on the 1794 Dollars. -Editor
1794 dollar Len Augsburger, Joel J. Orosz, and David Finkelstein have pooled their research, and have collaborated on a Money Talks presentation regarding the 1794 Dollars. The presentation will be on Thursday, August 3rd, at 10:00 AM, in Room 501. David Finkelstein will be presenting images of never before published Mint documents that provide a definitive understanding of:
• whose silver bullion was used for coining the 1794 Dollars,
• the Mint's processing of that silver bullion,
• and the release of the 1794 Dollars from the Mint's treasury.
Multiple documents have been rediscovered at both the National Archives and Records Administration, and the Historical Society of Pennsylvania. These documents provide the contemporary evidence that answer the questions that have plagued numismatists for over 150 years.
The presentation on the 1794 Dollars should be very interesting... I hope someone in attendance can summarize it here for those of us unable to attend. Cheers, RickO
I glad the the plague will be over soon
This sounds like a great talk. I also hope it will be summarized here.
Me too! Have fun Barry!
