Coin "messes": Subtle Intrusion of a Hobby

This isn’t too out of control. The picture is of the top shelf on my computer hutch. These coins started accumulating from a few years of setting aside for another day. Well, that day hasn’t arrived yet so they sit for more to join. I wouldn’t consider this procrastination; just a work in progress that I haven’t gotten around to yet.
Do any of you have a coin related “work in progress”?

I think that, as collectors, we all have something akin to the accumulation you show. One can hardly call themselves a collector if they do not have "works in progress", perhaps several, for the oft discussed but never seen 'roundtuit'. I have no pictures, but mine would look eerily like the one you pictured.
What's with the bullets and Coin combination? I notice it with my stuff and now you. For me it's mostly .38 special rounds and 12 gauge squirrel killers. I'm looking at them right now. On my dresser. Coins and ammo. What's up with that? At least I know I'm not the only one. Why do we do this? Are we o.k.? Oh GEEZE!!!!!!
Maybe they're related because if you use your gun properly, you get free coins.

Bullets and coins.... now you are talking my language... .45's and Morgan's.... They just seem to fit together....
