It's become more and more difficult to come across collections like that. These day most of what you see is either hoards of circulated silver dollars or cardboard boxes full of US Mint products from the past 50 years. You should have a good time looking through it carefully. I'm sure you will find some pleasant surprises.

That sounds like great fun. I have never appraised a friend's or acquaintance's collection that was worth more than $300 or so.
