My English Monarchs, William I to Henry VIII
I have collecting English monarchs from Edward the Confessor to Elizabeth II. I have not limited myself to pennies. Here is my run:

Henry I, 1100 - 1135

Stephen, 1135-7 and 1141-54

Henry II 1154 - 89, Yes I know, someone punched "HII" on it in the upper part of the obverse

Richard I 1189 - 99, French Denier of Aquitaine - Richard was far more French than he was British

John 199 - 1216 Irish Half Penny for the time when John was the Lord of Ireland

Henry III 1216 - 72

Edward I 1272 - 1307

Edward II 1307 - 27

Edward III 1327 - 77, Gold half noble - Edward introduced the gold coinage

Richard II 1377 - 99 Half Penny

Henry IV 1399 - 1413 gold noble

Nice set!
The most imposing Henry VIII portrait, and the one that reminds you of the famous painting, is on the testoon, which is unfortunately a very expensive coin when "nice".
Great looking collection. I love the John 1/2 Penny ,Henry VIII 1/2 Groat and the Edward III gold.
Very nice! ! The gold really shows well.
Cool!
