Anyone know if there is going to be a PCAC auction this year?

I haven't heard anything from Joe Levine in a while. Does anyone know if a Presidential Coin and Antique Company auction is scheduled this year? Did I miss it?

The last I heard it was being postponed until September at the earliest.

Thanks. PCAC has kind of been "comm out" for awhile now. Joe used to, very predictably, conduct his annual sale in conjunction with the summer Baltimore show, but that string was broken last year due to some health issues as I understand it. I hope he is doing well and that his auctions will return.

I corresponded with Joe a few weeks ago. He said that he's been under the weather lately and that the auction would be in October.
However, the following week I sent him another email and there was wan auto-response that said he has "undergone a longer than expected hospitalization and recuperation, and is a month behind"
I hope he is healing quickly.

I am very sorry to hear about Joe's health issue. Having just gone through a month long bout myself, I know it's no fun. The PCAC auction has been a major event for token and medal collectors for many years.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

^^ 100% agreed, and Joe is legendary in my mind. I hope his good health returns ASAP

I haven't heard anything. I'm attending a token show tomorrow though. I'll ask around.

Did the auction ever take place? I don't think it did.
I wonder how Joe is doing?
