The trueview of the 6 coins I had crossed from this thread https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/984190/pcgs-invitational-6-for-6#latest are at the end of this report... Thank you goes to the PCGS photograph department (Chrissy and Phil) for their very prompt and well done images! I love them!

This was my third PCGS Invitational and I throughly enjoy myself each time... The dealers that are there are at the top of their field and always a pleasure to view their coins and to chat... Lots of knowledge in that room with a professionalisim that stands alone. PCGS is always a great host with pleanty of good food, cold beverages and happy, helpful staff... The turnout was good considering it was 117 deg. down in Vegas the one day... :) It was just right for submitting coins and having them back promptly and I would highly recommend these invitationals to those who want a nice relaxed environment that have a few coins to submit or looking to find some great quality coins... Speaking of quality TDN`s gorgeous DBD was on display and it is outstanding and wonderful to see... The beauty of that glittery treasure is amazing and I enjoyed seeing it very much... A wonderful dollar!

The Legend Auction was the best one I have seen so far... Many great pieces and the final sale of the NL Morgan collection... The Morgans in the entire 5 sales were very nice with many exceptional pieces... I will share pics of some that I acquired during the different sales at a later time. Again if you havent been to one of these auctions I highly recommend it... Great coins, and the Legend people are knowledable, very helpful, a pleasure to deal with and they do a great job! Real pros...

MS65 PL "The Lightning Bolt"

MS67 "Gamma Ray"

MS68 "Stitched Perfection"

MS68 "The Purple Moose"

MS68 "Killer Tomato"

MS68 "The Perfect Rainbow"

The subtle color transition on that last example is killer. All amazing coins, happy you had such a good time at the event.

Your collection has amazing consistency Wayne.... I imagine it lights up your 'coin room' when displayed in total. Congratulations on more great additions. Cheers, RickO

Super coins, the so called "Gamma Ray" looks really nice having deeper hues complemented by a frosty reverse.

My question is, where do find these coins? I have been to a few shows and never seen anything like the coins you have. I can understand finding one or two here and there, mostly in gem condition, but we're talking MS68* coins! Honestly how many of these beauties do you own?

I'm also questioning the "purple moose". Those are pretty good reed marks on the top of the cheek by the nose. I would think it would drop it to a MS67, at least.

While I'm not a fan of Morgan Dollars, I would certainty make room for the gorgeous "Killer Tomato" in my humble collection. Wow, what a coin and what a collection you have!

    They look like the pieces

Thank you guys... Each one has different attributes... The Lightning Bolt is absolutely gorgeous with DMPL like mirrors that glow across a room... The Gamma Ray is so close to DMPL and its green and wild EOR toning its an amazing Morgan to see... Stitched Perfection is so technically solid and has what appears to be stitches from the mint bag in an arc across the obverse... The Purple Moose all things considered is the finest toned 82-S I have ever seen and a real blazer... Killer Tomato is perhaps my favorite out of this group of my higher grade Morgans and absolutely the cleanest face on any Morgan I have ever viewed... And The Perfect Rainbow is a ball of glowing lustrous color with gorgeous mixed colors.... CommemKing good questions all these were acquired sometime ago during 2007 through 2010 and almost all of them from the late Mike DeFalco... The Lightning Bolt from Lloyd Cowle know on here as bestclser... I have never submitted the coins before this... And yes a few more 68s I have that are already in our hosts holders... Yes you may look at every coin show and never come across Morgans of these calibers but you never know... :) Thats what makes the hunt so fun! Each one of these have cool stories and they mean the world to me as I enjoy viewing them very much...
Thank you Greg, Rick, Leverage, Ablinky....
    Good eye Catbert...
Cascade Chris I posted The lighning Bolt just for you... :)
Fred Weinberg that may be as BigMoose on here gave me the 1987 Catalog of The Hoffecker Sale where one after the other toned Morgan`s from the Contenental Bank Hoard are in there and one of the plate coins in the catalog was Stitched Perfection...

Wayne, I'm glad you were able to cross those world-class toners into PCGS holders. I do agree with the commentor who said that a plus rating might have been appropriate in one or more instances. Frankly, based on what we've seen recently for other spectacular toners with more marks, I would think a plus rating could have been justified for all six of your pieces.

Aurora: You have some of the most beautiful monster toned Morgans that exist. How many do you have in total?

    All are superb.
