I have a 1997 penny where you can see words and or numbers when you turn it into light. I can see I think XL like Roman numerals but Im not sure. Anyone know if this is an error?

Looks like counting or rolling machine damage on the obverse and a partially filled die on the reverse IMO.

On the obverse, under and to the left of IN it looks like damage but it does look like the letters ANE in there. Strange
