So the last couple of years there's been a thread where members post the absolute rarities they're looking for that might only be found at a giant show like The National. Since so many members go, it's a handy thread to keep with you.
My impossible to find three cards are:
1 1971-72 Topps Hockey #6 Leaders - need signed by Jacques Plante (deceased 1986).
At this time I have 131 2/3 of 132 cards signed in the set - 131 of them are on the registry now:

2 1969 Topps Basketball Guy Rodgers signed (deceased 2001)
3 1969 Topps Basketball Jimmy Walker signed (deceased 2005)
These two cards would complete a fully signed set for me.
If you see any of those three cards, get a hold of me! I'll pay a $100 bounty on top of the sale price for any of the three.
I'm always interested in signed HOF rookies from deceased guys too but that's too broad for this thread. My PM's go to my email.
Always interested to see what cards other members are looking for too. Who know, maybe a fellow member will spot something out of the corner of his eye when looking through a $1 Box,

I would have two items I'd put a bounty on. $100 on top of sales price seems fair for a personal shoppers fee.

i have some of the bubblegumless newspapers. not sure what others i have, but a couple of sheets...i know one w chi-chi and arnie. gimme a few days and ill see what i can dig up.
Mike--I started that thread a couple of times. Got 2 members cards they had been looking for for a LONG time. Greg Maddox Canon card and forget the other. It was quite enjoyable for me to look for stuff and actually find it. I kept a list in my backpack and had the cell phone #s of the guys who were looking. When I found the cards I texted them and they confirmed the sales. They PP'd me the $$ immediately.
I did not want a finder's fee so to speak but both guys sent me something--which was unexpected but awesome.
May I suggest that you keep a list at the top of your thread for anything someone is looking for along with their board name.

Looking for one sealed case of 1952 Topps Baseball (any series) - no allowance for wear on the box and no residual sign of it ever being on a dolly cart. One mouse turd stuck to a surface of the box allowed but only one. Finders fee $100 + a bag of Cheese Curds.

I left this afternoon and the one raritie I noticed was I only saw 1 1988 Donruss Wax Box for sale. I guess because the Crisser says we are in a correction especially what we all think is quality unopened then maybe right under our noses 88 D is ready to go on a serious up tick.
