Recent 1/10 gold purchase and your thoughts on Big Gold Minting

I received this 1/10 gold coin earlier this week because I just had to see it in hand, and I'm happy I did.
It has great detail for a 26mm 1/10 oz. coin. Took a few photos, one with a 1/10 Age and one with a
15g, 8g Panda and 1/4 oz. Queens Beast for comparison... what do you think?

Here's a link about the technique called Big Gold Minting -

I see them as potentially fragile and the tiniest nick scratch bend rim ding etc. is the club a future shop owner is going to use to beat you down to back of melt

I think that competition is forcing better quality into the marketplace, but bronco may have a point. Time will tell.

@bronco2078 - I see your point and suppose that could become the case. Especially since all
of the ones I've seen have a pretty high premium, I was fortunate enough to pickup this PR69
for a great price. I like to have variety and this one fits the bill.

I have a couple of tiny gold coins... Nice, but I prefer the larger coins... just a personal preference... Cheers, RickO
