What would you grade these experimental notes

    I'd agree. At first, the top one looks a bit nicer (maybe XF) but they both appear pressed or processed.

    Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.

    Lots of folds in the second, without seeing in person I'd say VF,
    both notes seem a bit liberally graded

    I agree, top one might not make it to an XF. But definite high VF, and the bottom one would be right in the middle of the road of VF (25-30) at best.

    VF and Fine, I agree, looks like they've had some work.

    I hope if you get these notes certified they grade appropriately. I have been burned in the past on uncertified notes so now I rarely buy them without certification.
