Out of curiosity, anybody know the details of the makers mark, and whether the pre 1912 dating is right?

Snuff bottles? Now there is a collector's niche.... I have heard of snuff bottles, did not realize there is such a market for them.... Tried snuff once as a kid...just made me sneeze... never tried it again. Do they still sell it?

Funny that you said this...my brother and I tried the blueberry snuff when we were kids...and I couldn't stop sneezing either...and smelled blueberries for about 2 or three days every time I breathed through my nose.

Yes they do still sell it and one of my brothers brought some back from Oktoberfest in Munich (where it is abundantly used and sold, Because there is no smoking in the beer halls and you will lose your seat if you up to leave for a smoke) lol

I bet it's a modern Chinese counterfeit. Sold for just $41.

I know a few people collect the coin spot pattern glass and I bet there are a few collectors of US coin images on other stuff, like this item.
