2010 America the Beautiful Silver Proof Set - Red matte?

I noticed that while the 2011-2016 silver proof sets have black mattes the 2010 set has a red matte.
Is this because it's the first year for a new series or something?
Was there ever a version with a black matte available?

The mint does this to confuse new collectors such as yourself. Here is the key to it: Odd years get black backing, and even years get red, except for Leap years. They are blue.
The sets between 2011 & 2016 that did not follow this odd/even pattern are errors made when the mint ran out of red inserts.
