DIMEMANDIMEMAN Posts: 22,403 ✭✭✭✭✭

This is the 1935-S/S FS501 PCGS64 which upgraded my PCGS63. This is a very tuff variety. You can see my whole Dime set by using the link in my sig line "All Dimes All Varieties". Thanks for looking and comments welcome.

That is a pretty darn nice dime for an MS64! Do you think the vertical toning streaks on the obverse limited the grade to below MS65?

That was a 63? With frosty luster, a nice strike, and clean surfaces, I don't understand. I'm not a Merc guy, but that sure looks a lot nicer than a 63.

Okay. For a moment there I thought I was losing it.

Looks like a higher grade from the picture.
I'd be happy if all my 64s looked like that.

Very, very nice dime except for those two marks/streaks.... any chance of removing them? Cheers, RickO

Not really Ricko. That would require sending in again and all those fees. And those toning streaks don't bother me at all.

Yes, they are not major at all... under the magnified view they look strange... and of course one focuses on them under magnification.... I would not do anything with them either.... just did not know how much they bothered you. Nice dime....Cheers, RickO
