Would you like to give numismatic club presentation, write an article, or book?

Lots of collectors and dealers I speak with have ideas for articles or club presentations, but don’t seem to go further with their concept. The hobby knowledge base benefits from expression of ideas and deeper exploration of subjects by a greater number of participants.
Having had a little experience in this area, I’m willing to help anyone who is interested in writing articles or preparing club presentations with the following:
- Help with subject definition and project organization.
- Draft concept and editing help.
- Introductions to publishers and editors.
- Access to research sources, databases and document files.
No cost or obligation. The product is yours. No salesman will call.

I give presentations to my local club close to every month and speak to another (almost) local club once a year. The biggest problem I have is getting pictures, not of coins, Heritage will let me use any of their photos with proper credit, but of other things. Recently I noted that I need a picture of Congress Hall in Philadelphia, which next to Independence Hall. I was just there but did not snap the right picture, darn it!
Thanks for the offer. I have heard the club president ask to see if any members want to give a presentation. I am not qualified and would not try to do something I am not prepared for. A local pastor from India wanted an overview of US numismatic history so I went over a lot of numismatic material with him, and then he asked what the best way was to buy numismatic gold and I told him. Though a power point presentation can be extremely effective if delivered by a well prepared intelligent person to an audience of receptive and bright people. Many of the public speakers at clubs I have been members of are not that great, especially boring when it is after 9pm. David Alexander from HA was an exception.

You mention some key points that commonly frustrate speakers and audiences.
