Found a semi-key Barber dime!

This is only my 3rd time detecting since I took a break 15 years ago. The first coin I ever found was actually found by someone else, I just dug it. So technically, this is my first coin! You can imagine my surprise when I turned it over and saw an "O".

Just an update -- I went with a friend last night into a field on the edge of town and we (he) found one silver coin: another 1896-O barber dime. I mean, what are the odds?!

No Headlights

I once found two 1908-D quarters in the same condition on opposite sides of Iowa City, but two 1896-O dimes............long odds indeed to put it mildly
