Hello all. I came across this 1850-O Seated Half Dollar that has clear doubling on the face, hand, and flag pole. Are there any known varieties of this? And could machine doubling cause this to occur?
I have researched everywhere I can think of, but have come up with nothing.
Thanks for any input!!

It appears to be die bounce (machine doubling) to me, based on the images provided.
I tried to find the online Wiley book of seated half varieties, that I used when I formerly collected seated halves, but could no longer locate it.

Machine doubling.... quite clear though on the face and hand. Cheers, RickO
machine doubling. still interesting to have around, just saying.
Go to the Liberty Seated Collectors Site.
Under resources online find the new books by Bill Buggert.
Have a blast. My 1850-O is not a listed variety. James

I like it and I keep spectacular MD and DDD coins in nice condition because somebody has gotta do it. I also discourage book burnings."
...er, what?
