I do not have an authoritative answer..... I would guess it is used in a gaming center ....I have seen other 'coins' used in such places...never a cent type one though. Cheers, RickO

I remember buying something very similar from the dollar story when I was a kid in the early 90s. It's play money. The coin is most likely plastic.
