Letters on 2017 S and W proof silver eagles

I just noticed the letters on the 2017 proof silver eagles seems a bit different I have a S and W Pr70 2017 and compared to 2015 W PR 70 the letters seem thinner less frosty more mirrored .Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this?

Haven't really looked but "usually" thinner letters indicate a fresh die. No idea about the frosting which is mechanically added.

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

My W ASE has thinner letters than the S ASE..... Does not seem significant.... at least not for these coins. Cheers, RickO
