my friends laugh at me cause I look at my change all the time, but not laughing now...hahah lol
Yes that is it.
Nice find.
I don't want to burst your bubble but they're not really as scarce as they are sometimes marketed to be.
Around these parts about 10% of the 1970-D dimes that I find are this variety.
wow didn't know that....thanks hope to find more like it.
The 1970 Philadelphia coin will be tougher...but it's a tougher coin to begin with (in relative terms.)
Good eye to pick it out; once you know what these look like it becomes easy to spot them.
eagle eye, I scan my change religiously......but you got to know your errors in all coin denominations to be on point to catch something special....I try the best i can....plus...you have to be pretty dedicated to it, as I am
Excellent catch.... I too check my change.... though I would likely have missed this one.... I look for more apparent finds... such as a '55DDO... I really do check my change and I keep Wheaties as well... Cheers, RickO
55ddo now thats funny lol
Got another 1970 D RO68 as change today. Maybe kinda common like Mannie Gray suggested
nice score
Going to have to check my stuff to see if I can cherry pick myself, LOL!!
What is it worth?
well, you have to kinda go by what people pay on ebay and alike, from what I have seen maybe 80-300 dollard depending on grade. I believe mine are ms-63. Its what the market will bare I guess.
Cool, good find. I do not see yours as an MS63, but maybe your pictures make it look flat. It looks AU to me.
I am new to grading..i read the grading criteria in the redbook. I need to study up
