Question about Proof Set Coinage

Hi All,

Just got thinking.
The 1916 Proof coinage only has two coins: the Lincoln & the Buffalo.
Can someone confirm this ?

Then, I got thinking, which proof set has the most coins in it.
I'm thinking it's one of the latest proof set, with all those quarters and pres. dollars.

Is the 2009 the proof set with the most coins with 18 ?
Can someone confirm this ?

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Chris

I stopped collecting new proof sets a couple years before that.... but sure sounds like it. Cheers, RickO

@aus3000tin PCGS puts the number of coins in a 2009 proof set at 26 since PCGS also includes the silver coins. Including the silver coins, 2015 has 27 required coins. Gad...that is a LOT!
