I've never had real issues with USPS and their timeliness....just with FedEx and "smart"post.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

No kidding. FedEx Smart post will add another week to the delivery!

Unlike many here, my USPS experiences have been very good. With the exception (there is always an exception) of one lost package (not a coin).... never did find it...Cheers, RickO

I have mostly been satisfied with the USPS. They have never lost an item, but have experienced slow delivery. Though here is my latest with USPS and cracks me up!

I had a package that showed delivered and ready for pick-up at the P.O. Box. The owner went to get it and said it was not in there. I opened a USPS Research Request on the item. Not a big deal if it actually was lost. However, the guy had a second P.O. Box across town and went to check that one close to his work. Small town and I guess some employees knew him. Somehow the package was placed in this other box and is still a mystery how/why. The funny part comes in about 45 days later when I get an email from USPS that they are still looking for the item! I'm waiting to see what they find for me! Love it!

The USPS has been doing great for me lately. Have never lost a package, and lately some of my first class parcels have been delivered in under 24 hours!

Hard to believe the USPS actually cares as claimed. "We Care" LOL

I have no USPS complaints
But, several years ago I mailed some important info in a large manila envelope, with the clasp on the back.
I paid the required postage at the post office.
    It never arrived.
Some months later, it was returned to sender [me] for insufficient postage.
I went back to the PO and was told that there is a 3 cent surcharge because there was no tape on the clasp.
I explained to the clerk that she was the one that weighed it and charged me the postage, she did not care.

In my case, the USPS got it completely wrong. Shipped a valuable coin w/Restricted Delivery Signature Confirmation. The addressee finds out by the tracking summary that the package was allegedly delivered 2 days prior to his review of tracking. Already, the carrier has admitted forging the addressees signature so that he could leave it with an unrelated party. The unrelated party claims no knowledge of the package. Someone is lying. The Postal Inspectors have their work cut out for them here.

Knock on wood but I've never had a package lost. I've had great luck with them and wouldn't use anything else. It helps my local PO is across the street.
