    I was thinking the same thing, although LordM doesn't seem to post much here anymore. :( I think he is hanging out over at CoinTalk.

    I made it out to England last year for a week of detecting. Although small, there is always a chance at finding great historic gold. None for me during the trip, but one of the guys found a Celtic quarter stater. Very impressive find to see.

    It would be a great experience just to detect where such treasures have - and might be - found. Cheers, RickO
