PCGS $2.5 Indian Grading Set

Just thought this was really cool. Indian PCGS grading set from F2 to MS65, all older holders. I couldn't imagine how hard this would be to build. PCGS supposedly have full grading sets of popular series and types back in 1988. It was a means to keep the graders calibrated from time to time. I wonder if those are still around as they all would have been in rattler holders?

Eh, not super impressed. I would have been more impressed if they had every date in the series. Or even better, have the grades and dates line up in order! Now that would be cool!

In 2015-16, I completed this set in mint state (ms 62-64), including the 1911D ms 60 for many thousands lesser than $12.5k

I remember selling a complete set in XF. in 1975 for $1500.

They have been sold off in the last year. Look for a Gnnn on thw blue label. PCGS is reportedly moving to large photos.

Does the shop you work at:

1. Buy raw coins and have them graded before reaelling them or buy slabbed coins and submit for upgrades before reselling them; and
2. Dip coins it buys before reselling them?
