This coin was in a safe in a house that I bought, can someone give me an idea on its value, or where I can take it to have it appraised and sell?

    Definitely not genuine. If it is struck on silver it might then be worth approximately $15. If not, near worthless I am afraid.

    Agreed, not a genuine coin. Take it to a local coin shop though to be sure.
