Looking for new detector.. Opinions please

Garrett AT Pro or Whites MX Sport.. I detect beaches,parks, schools, but would like to get into field searching also..

    I have heard good things about Garrett....however, I have always used White's... have seven.... I have found that they have great products and incredible customer service. Cheers, RickO

    The MX Sport looks like a decent machine but I haven't heard many or any reports about people who are using it. Many people use the AT Pro.
    If you will use in a salt water environment, check how each machine will do. Can be frustrating if they chatter all the time in the salt

    I use the AT Pro. It is a great machine and Garrett has great customer service. I sent them an email stating that I lost one of my earmuffs on the headphones....it fell off during transport and was lost and they sent me a replacement for free.

    There is a small learning curve as with any detector but I have had great results with it. Hardest part is finding places to detect.

    Definitely a Whites!

    I have the Vision 3i, love it.

    any Whites would be great.
