Market acceptable? Well, you could probably spend it for 50 cents if the teller isn't paying attention....
I think the market will accept it at a value of 50 cents.
I wonder if someone was practicing plugging coins or what the back story is on that?

If you collect holed, the plug looks to be removable.
Why would you even want such a thing ? That's a damaged coin. Spend it ! or use it as a necklace if you can remove the plug.
Here is my recent street find. But these get rolled and get deposited in my account. I don't feel close to them in any way, its just money.
