Finally finished a somewhat coin related project

Spent a lot of "free time" searching Lincoln cent rolls from the banks.
Sorting out the copper cents, separating the wheat cents and keeping 'oddball' coins.
Decided to cash in the copper cents at a no fee CU coin machine.

THE RESULTS:
1. About 60,000 copper cents cashed in = bought 30 2016 ASE's.
2. Approx. 450 wheat cents saved [0.75%], to be sold soon with my others.
3. A few IH cents, quite a few Roosevelt dimes and the following
4.

An interesting, soothing, forget about work worries project completed...on to something new. :smile:

Successful transactions with : MICHAELDIXON, Manorcourtman, Bochiman, bolivarshagnasty, AUandAG, onlyroosies, chumley, Weiss, jdimmick, BAJJERFAN, gene1978, TJM965, Smittys, GRANDAM, JTHawaii, mainejoe, softparade, derryb, Ricko

Bad transactions with : nobody to date

    @basetsb & @JJSingleton
    It's a very good credit union that started here in Massachusetts but is now National.
    The machine is self serve.
    There are absolutely no fees for members, I just take the cash.
    The CU **does **actually love it's members. :smile:

    It sounds like a VERY coin-related project :)

    @GoldenEgg
    It was a bit scientific, finding the correct places to get the cents. A few rolls vs $25 boxes.
    And all banks and all coin distributing companies [armored car services] are not equal.
    Lastly, all people whether bank employees or not, are not created equally as far as friendly customer service is concerned :smile:

    Sounds like a good conversion. Copper to silver always works. :)

    What are 2916 ASE's ?
    Had you not cashed in the copper cents and sold them you could have gotten more than 30 ASE's

    Thanks @djm
    I did sell them for $0.01 each....exactly what I paid for them. :smile:

    With all due respect, help me to understand how to sell the copper cents for a worthwhile profit. :smile:
    I had a relaxing time, found some interesting pieces and got some ASE's.

    PS please include shipping costs when **we **sell the common copper cents for a profit, any links to buyers would be appreciated.

    **Seriously **though, thanks for posting, any input is always appreciated :smile:

    Sorry about the date inaccuracy.....been working too many hours.
    I corrected it from 2916 to 2016......the nine and zero on the keyboard are close to each-other....with my big fingers and old eyesight. :smile:

    This is Awesome! Stacking that zinc & copper all while silver prices plummeted...then BAM...cash out at no loss and convert it to silver at a resealable buy in...Nice Work! How did you haul the load and how heavy?
