That 1889-S is REALLY NICE for an MS-63. I could see it in an MS-64 holder.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. Do you know from which shipwreck it originated? It is great that we now have so many mint state Type One Double Eagles that were almost nonexistent before the shipwreck recoveries of recent decades.
